What is the difference between film-faced plywood and regular plywood?
Film-faced plywood has a protective surface film designed for demanding applications such as concrete formwork. Regular plywood comes in different grades for construction, joinery and other uses. Confirm the adhesive grade, panel thickness and intended application before ordering.
Is 18 mm plywood suitable for concrete formwork?
18 mm film-faced plywood is a commonly requested formwork thickness, but suitability depends on the panel grade, span, support spacing, concrete pressure and the engineer's design. Do not select thickness from a general recommendation alone.
What is the difference between 12 mm and 18 mm plywood?
The thickness affects stiffness, weight and suitability for a given application. Selection depends on load, spacing, construction method and specified grade. Share your drawings or BOQ so the requirements can be checked.
Is marine plywood completely waterproof?
